The Tyler Texas real estate market is one of the better markets in the United States. Tyler did feel a slump or decline in the sell of houses and the market of course goes down in price because of it but the situation cannot be compared with much of the rest of the country.
Homes in Tyler are still selling and the prices have not come down that much in comparison to states that are feeling the credit crunch. Tyler Texas real estate is not immune to the countries economic troubles but we do have a lot of things going for us in this city to keep ourselves stable.
Tyler's medical businesses, grocery stores, natural gas and oil natural resources, and retirement communities give our community almost a buffer against some of things other cities are facing. Even during the depression Tyler Texas and the surrounding East Texas area did quite well because of our natural gas and oil resources in this area.

Yes, I think Southern Utilities should have a website where you can pay your bill. It would make it a lot easier for everyone. I have never heard of a company not having a site to pay online or not having a drop off box either. Dirty water comes out of my faucet sometimes.

This is the worse day care ever! The teachers were extremely rude and dont even get me started on the director and her assistant. The building is discusting and there really isnt a playground just a field of sand, no toys. My daughter cried everyday she got dropped off. Not recommeneded by me EVER!!

Mercados: My favorite Mexican Restaurant! It's the most economical, consistent eatery in Tyler. Great Service! (Martha), Excellent Food!, FREE Chips & Salsa , FREE Tortillas and Free Ice Cream too!!! Not like El Charro...Too High and Bland, Bland, Bland! Nothing free there.

Breakers: I am sorry to say I was not impressed. I felt it was priced a little too high for what (qty) you get. I can get the same thing at Red Lobster and get free cheddar bay biscuits too. In this economy you need something as a "hook" free...Roadhouse has rolls, Red Lobster has biscuits, etc.
