The scroll offers evangelical as well as Catholic books and some Christian mystic writings from long ago. The Scroll also has quite a lot of home school books, lesson plans, and education materials.

This business is considered a Tyler landmark by many and I personally enjoy it every time I drive by Millers Antique Autos as they have a new classic car out there almost every time I drive by. I went there a few months ago and test drove with Spencer a very fast 1970'2 Chevelle. Back in highschool I spent a few days at Millers with a church sponsored event. Miller's Classic Cars is a good business with very clean and unique classic cars and I can personally vouch that these people are good wonderful people to buy a car from. I encourage anyone who likes classic cars to go by and visit them. You will have a blast just looking around.

If you are looking for a new and different coffee hangout, you will find it at Mount Sylvan Coffee House. This location is an old historic Masonic Lodge and has been completely redone in an old English style. Walk in some day and I am sure you will be impressed as I was with the amazing design inside. if you have guests visiting from out of town this is a great place to bring them for some Texas souvenirs to bring back to their home state or country. The coffee choices are whatever you would like. They have just about every flavor. I tried out a Coffee Mocha with raspberry. It was very tasty and competes with coffee stores like Starbucks. These guys know how to offer a quality product. My father and law and friends threw a big get together party for his school at this Tyler Texas Coffee store and it was a great venue for something like this. Wedding receptions and other related activities can most likely be worked out for those interested in a country setting for a Tyler wedding reception. This is a small dog and purse dog clothing store in Tyler Texas. The store has everything you could need for your small dogs clothing needs. We have been in the store and we think anyone with a small dog will love the variety of clothing and dog accessories offered for the small and petite dog lover.

This East Texas electric company allows you to become a part owner in an independent business with them and basically reimburse you in cash for part of the electric usage you consume. This is an alternative to an electric co-op and their electricity rates are cheap. As of April 7 2009 they show an electric rate in the East Texas area at 11.4 cents a kWh for 1 year fixed. If you live in the Tyler area and have been considering switching to an electric co-op in order to receive cash back on your usage then we suggest using Affordable Energy instead. Nueces is charging 17 cents a kWh + and so the cash back just doesn't make up the difference in price. You can join Affordable as a customer rep for free and sign up as your own customer. Affordable Energy will then pay you on your own usage. Can't beat that deal.

This company provides very fast broadband internet over wireless frequencies many times using one of the highest points in Tyler Texas. You know where the big black Bank of America building is in downtown Tyler? They have one of their signals coming from the top of that roof. I live all the way out in New Harmony near Lindale and they just installed East Texas Wireless Internet at my neighbors. They climbed his TV antenna tower and installed a wireless antenna at the top. They are about to do it for me. The signal latency is around 60 milliseconds. Compare that with a satellite internet service provider like Hughes Net or Wildblue which have latency around 750 - 1000 (This means it takes forever for your internet page you are opening to come up.) The upload and download bandwidth is much better and there are no contracts. Generally when an internet provider lets you try their service with no contract it usually means you are really going to like the internet service. They have several speeds to choose from and I am about to drop my Sprint PC card wireless service just as soon as they can get out to my house and set it up.
