Chuy's Mexican Food in Tyler TX

Chuy's in Tyler TX

Chuy's Tyler TexasThe riddle of the day, what does Tyler have dozens of but keeps building? If you guessed Tex-Mex restaurants, then you got it right. Chuy’s restaurant is expected to open in Tyler April of this year. Well what makes Chuy’s any different than the rest of the Tex-Mex restaurants in Tyler? Why wouldn’t we stick to eating at Jalapeño Tree or Mercado’s restaurant? Chuy’s promises a new, fun, and different environment. Chuy’s restaurant started in an old barbeque shack in Austin, Texas. As two young men, Mike Young and John Zapp used all their money to open this first restaurant; they had no more than $20 to decorate. As you can imagine they had to use what they could find. Chuy’s restaurants still use this decorating technique. At some Chuy’s restaurants you might find tire rims hanging from the ceiling or old traffic signs hanging on the wall. They have a signature item in every restaurant which is the Elvis Shrine. One of the most important things about the restaurant is that they make a fun restaurant that makes you feel right at home.

The feel of the restaurant is fun, but more importantly the food is made fresh. The two men traveled towns in South Texas, Mexican boarder towns, and New Mexico, to find the best Tex-Mex recipes. It is important that Chuy’s food is made fresh. They have amazing hand rolled tortillas, and they make their salsa fresh every hour. The amazing and fun menu is unique and will make your mouth water just reading over it. You can enjoy a great hand made signature drink or just a usual personal favorite. If you are having a party and want great food, you can order off of their great “Party to Go Menu”. The food is sure to be fresh and they have healthier choices of Mexican foods.

I thought I would slip in this sign up offer in the midst of this article. If you would like to get the occasional Tyler TX restaurant discount offer or coupon sent to your email just fill in your email address below. That’s it!

Chuy’s restaurant is a new and growing chain restaurant and its next stop is here in Tyler. Even though Tyler has so many restaurants, and a ton of the restaurants we do have are Mexican food; I think this will be a great new expansion to East Texas. Anyone who has eaten at a Chuy’s restaurant will be excited to have the restaurant open here.

Lowes Hardware Store in Tyler and Lindale

July 6th, 2010

When you are redoing your kitchen or bathroom, or if you are building that new play ground for your children, you want to know the best place to buy your materials. If you are like me than you probably want to know where the people are most ready to help you and answer all your questions.

I hate going into a Tyler TX hardware store and not finding anyone to help me, and I have no idea what I need to accomplish my projects.

At Lowes they have a little switch that you flip when you need help. This system is extremely annoying, and it does not work. So many times we have sat at a counter and waited for someone to answer the intercom announcing that there is help needed in the washer machine department. So many times no one has come and I just give up and walk away.

I can just picture two men arguing while they are out back having a smoke, who should go out and help me. Not only does this system not work at all, the automatic intercom voice is extremely annoying. I cringe when I need to ask for help because of the reason that I have to hear that voice. I think that all home improvement stores should have more staff ready to help answer questions.

Lindale opened a Lowes hardware store a few years ago. This really makes it a whole lot easier to go to the hard ware store when you live out towards Lindale. I have live out in the country and been working on a house, and it is really hard to do big projects when you have to drive an hour to get to the closest store. I really do like to go to Lowes because they have great deals, especially on appliances.

When your car barely fits your double stroller in the trunk, you can not really expect to fit a dish washer in your car, so Lowes has delivery. At times their delivery services are really great. But I have witnessed a stressful experience when Lowes had to deliver a washer machine and the first washer machine did not work, the second machine had such a big dent in the side that the barrel inside could not turn.

It got pretty frustrating when you have a lot of people doing the laundry in one house and no washer. But there was a time that they successfully delivered and installed a stacked washer and dryer with out hurting it or doing to much damage to my house.

The delivery service is pretty affordable but if you know how to install these appliances than I recommend that you borrow your friend’s truck and pick it up yourself.

If you wait until the end of the season, you can find great sales. At the end of the summer I found a beautiful outdoor swing for about half the price. If you are willing to wait you can find everything you need for the next year at a really great price.

Lowes has all that you need for any building project, I just recommend that you take someone with you that knows what they are doing, because you probably will have to hunt down help in the store.
