I’ve said before on this site that I don’t go to the movies often. I just don’t see it as being worth it for most movies to pay nearly $10 a ticket and if you want some popcorn and a drink, there goes another arm and a leg. Having said that, I realize I might be in the minority and I’m OK with that, which is why I figured I’d give my thoughts on an upcoming move; The Internship.
I’ll probably see this once it comes out on DVD. I think it’ll make for a good rental. If I were to see a comedy in the theater though, I’d consider it. Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are pretty much the same characters they’ve been in every other movie together but they know how to make things entertaining. Sometimes they can be a bit crude, but pretty funny overall.
Wilson and Vauhn play two salesmen who lost their jobs due to modern technology and decide to take a shot as interns for Google. The two salesmen are a lot younger than their colleagues at Google and they find it much more difficult to compete with the younger crowd.
The Internship is scheduled to be released on Friday, June 7 and of course, will be shown in Tyler theaters.
