Little Caesar’s on 31 and SW Loop 323 in Tyler, TX

Little Caesar’s

510 S Southwest Loop 323
Tyler, TX 75702
(903) 592-7373

This Little Caesar’s pizza restaurant is specifically designated as a Hot & Ready business. This means that they have a few items that are always prepared and still hot as long as they are open. The standard Hot & Ready item is the large pepperoni pizza for less than six dollars. I believe it is five fifty. They also usually have one or two plain cheese pizzas available hot and ready for the same price. The more interesting items they have ready to take are hot wings, which come in different levels of spice, their famous “Crazy Bread” with sauce, and cheesy bread sticks. They are also able to make pizzas with other standard toppings to order and to make tons of pizzas if you call in before or are willing to wait.

This little pizza restaurant probably gets more of my money in the average month than any other food establishment in Tyler. This is because the food is amazing and the price is perfect. I am a bit of a pizza fanatic. I tell people that I could eat pizza every meal for the rest of my life, which wouldn’t be that long on a diet like that, and I am not lying. I love pizza, and when it comes to eating pizza affordably in Tyler I choose this Little Caesar’s. The taste and texture quality are unlike any other pizza place I’ve experienced. I think they do a perfect sauce and crust, but the most impressive thing about this Little Caesar’s pizza is the cheese. They put a huge amount of cheese on each pizza and then cook it perfectly to where there is a slight crisp.

The cool thing is that they offer this for just over five dollars. That is the same price as a single meal at a standard fast food restaurant, and one pizza is enough for my wife and I to eat dinner and usually have leftovers. We also get them for their convenience. Hot & Ready means we don’t have to cook, and we don’t even have to wait. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve had to wait more than five minutes for my food, and that was most often just because there were a few customers in front of me. It’s great for entertaining last minute house guests and family during an impromptu hangout.

It’s worth noting that they also have combo deals where you can grab a previously cooled two liter Pepsi product soda. They even have Pepsi Zero and diet Mountain Dew for all of those healthier pizza eaters out there. They also have combos that include “Crazy Bread” or hot wings. These combos are around ten dollars each and are definitely worth it when you consider the convenience and incredible taste and quality.

The last thing I’d like to note is that this location has some of the sweetest staff of any business in Tyler. They are pretty much all young people who seem happy to work there. Maybe pizza makes everyone else smile like me, or maybe their manager just knows how to pick employees and train them in customer service. I’ve gone so many times, that I’m almost starting to become friends with the cashiers. They may not remember me, but they make me feel so comfortable and valued that I remember them and recommend them to my friends and family. If you need a quick snack or want a break from cooking, swing by Little Caesar’s Hot & Ready on the South West end of Loop 323 where it meets with Highway 31.

Sam’s Club in Tyler

Sams Club
2025 SW Loop 323 Tyler

Ok so there are only five of us in our house but I still LOVE my Sams club membership. So do countless others who don’t own businesses – I’ve even noticed a very large contingent of people my grandparent’s age who love a visit there each week. So when you have to pay an annual fee to shop there (about $40) what is the attraction?

Well, I’ll make my way around the store. Firstly – the automotive section. I recently had a great deal on 4 Michelin tires and got $70 off for buying a set.

Then there is the photoshop. Digital prints and gifts can be uploaded on line and picked up at your next visit, saving on shipping. There is also a range of cameras and accessories.

Sams is worth checking out for large purchase home items like TVs, appliances (washing machines etc) and electronics. Their prices are competitive. Office and catering equipment are equally good value. Sams stocks a few items of furniture (more is available online) which is always solid and made to last. We have found that mattresses and bedding are a good buy here too. They have seasonal items like patio furnishings, yard equipment and even swimming pools.

Sams also has office consumables, cleaning equipment and catering supplies. I buy printer paper, diapers for the baby and toilet paper to last a few months. Oh and cat food!

I love looking at the clothes at Sams. Big minus for me is that there is nowhere to try on clothes so you have to take a risk and return items if they are not right. However they do have great brands at very low prices. A hint – if you see something you like, buy it. There is quite a fast turnover of products and the same stock won’t be there next time you go. I have Calvin Klein pants, Levi jeans and Esprit tops that I bought at a fraction of the usual retail price. There is a good range of sportswear and equipment too.
You can buy books, CDs, DVDs and video games at Sams, plus magazines at reduced rates. They have a small range of great toys. They also have a florist. A friend of mine will only buy flowers from Sams for weddings as she says they have the best variety and are always super fresh.

Onto groceries. Sams stocks the better quality brands of products plus their own Members Mark which is good value. Obviously, they are in catering sized packages which may not suit everyone. The produce section is a draw for me – I love their fruit and veg. They also have the cheapest milk and dairy products in town. Their fresh pizzas, rotisserie chickens and cheesecakes are heavenly. They also stock gourmet items and a good variety of cheeses and meats. The catering packs of chicken breasts and burgers are great for familes.

Finally, I am told that some people go to Sams just for the pharmacy and health food supplements. There are also good deals on toiletries.

I have suggested many a reason to go to Sams. There is one other. You can have lunch at Sams. I don’t just mean in their cafe where you can buy pizza slices, hotdogs, sundaes and drinks – I mean you can snack as you go round the store. Yes, Sams is big on free samples! Especially handy if you need to keep kids quiet as you shop, there are lots of things to try with no pressure to purchase. It is the only supermarket that my kids love to go to with me!
