Wisconsin Atheists Sue Texas Governor Rick Perry

July 15th, 2011

A group of busy body interventionist atheists from Wisconsin is suing the governor of Texas for his participation in a public prayer rally in Houston due to happen next month. Now try as I might I can’t seem to rap my head around the Texas- Wisconsin connection. The Freedom from Religion Foundation is supposedly filing its lawsuit on behalf of Texas Members. The problem is, in my experience, the term “on behalf of,” is often dubious in the extreme. How many times in history has tyranny been imposed “on behalf of,” one group, onto another? I’m frankly, not all that concerned with what a tiny minority, hundreds of miles away has to say about a religious prayer meeting here in Texas.

And so what if the Governor is a religious man, and finds prayer helpful? I’d wager most Texans espouse some kind of religious view! If anything, Governor Perry’s faith makes him a more accurate representative of his constituents. The fact is the August meeting is a non-denominational, non- sectarian event. Everyone is welcome and no one is required. As far as I can see prohibiting the Governor from attending amounts to nothing more than an infringement of his right of free association.

What annoys me most about the whole episode is that, anytime a public figure who happens to be a Christian wants to meet with other Christians, the “smart people” come out of the wood work to moralize about their interpretation of the “separation of church and state;” unless of course that public figure happens to be President Obama. The fact is no one will be hurt by the Governor attending a prayer rally. But some folks just can’t tolerate other people’s pursuit of happiness. I suggest the Wisconsin atheists hold their own uh… symposium on the ineffectiveness of public prayer. I won’t attend, but I promise not to sue either.

Sono-Care in Tyler Texas a 2D 3D and 4D Affordable Sonogram Center

November 12th, 2010

Sonocare in Tyler TX

Sono Care of East Texas

1815 S Broadway Ave Tyler, TX 75701
(903) 520-3232

We went to Sono-Care today because we needed to make sure there were no medical issues at 14 1/2 weeks with our baby.

We discovered from a previous sonogram at 12 weeks that we probably had a baby boy. This 2nd sonogram made that finding even more official.

Sono-Care is a great facility as they are extremely pro-life there. I would hate to go get a sonogram at a place where the nurses and doctors had a weird belief that we were only looking at blob of cells.

Any normal human when seeing a sonogram will easily see that the liberal lies about fetuses not even being real human beings is so full of crap.

We saw our baby suck his fingers, smile, throw his hands up in the air and swim around. He had facial expressions and could obviously feel pain or discomfort.

He was a miniature person in the womb and many atheists, liberals, and conservatives can all agree on this but there is still propaganda out there that has even the most devote church goers believing that abortions are no big deal as the baby is just a bunch of tissue and cells at this point and cannot feel anything.

At Sono-Care you will be treated with love and care and the people who work there have passion and extreme pleasure in their profession. walking into this place is not like walking into a cold unwelcoming hospital room where the sonographer basically treats you as a number.

We will be going back to Sono-Care in Tyler Texas for another sonogram check up but everything has checked out ok this time around and we are expecting a healthy baby boy.

Church in Temple Texas Burned Down

January 19th, 2010

The First Baptist Church in Temple TX has been burned down. This marks the 8th church in Texas to be burned down since January 2010. This church is a little further off the map in more of a central Texas area than where most of the churches were burned in East Texas.

The arsonist appear to be evading authorities by moving from city to city before things become too obvious. These criminals will be caught eventually and I encourage everyone to install security cameras that have night surveillance ability outside their church buildings.

Local Tyler Texas and East TX churches can pick up night video security cameras at Sam’s Wholsale Club for fairly cheap. If your church members pull in together and install one of these cameras on your outside facilities you should be able to get the arsonists in action and bring this church burning issue to a quick close.

These people in my opinion are probably highschoolers believing this is somehow fun. They could also be Muslim extremists also relatively young as Muslim extremists usually are. Considering the arsonists burned down a Church of Christ Scientist they obviously do not know the difference between a real Christian church and a cult.

Because the arsonists are targeting any building that appears to be a church it could be that they do not have a good understanding of what is considered a Christian church which leads me to consider the possibility that they are Muslim. It is also possible these people could be atheists but I don’t believe atheists normally use violence to make their point.

The only other possibility is that these people are just your run of the mill pyros like the guy in the movie “The Stand”.
